Stitching & fit
There is no size to choose here, and that is deliberate. A lehenga leaves us as cloth. It is stitched to the person wearing it — which is the only way a blouse ever really fits.
What arrives
- The lehenga skirt — Cut and finished, with the fall and the can-can already in.
- Blouse cloth — Unstitched, with the matching embroidery panels placed for the neckline and sleeves.
- The dupatta — Finished, edged, and ready to wear.
- Lining — Enough to line the blouse in a matching shade.
What happens after you order
- The measurement chart below is the whole brief. It lives on this page rather than arriving somewhere, so there is nothing to hold on to or lose.
- Take the piece to your tailor, or send us the measurements and we will have ours cut it — add three to five working days for that.
- The skirt and dupatta need nothing done to them. Only the blouse is stitched.
What to measure
Measure over a well-fitting garment rather than over nothing, keep the tape level, and do not pull it tight. Write the numbers down in centimetres or inches — just say which.

| Under-bust | Directly beneath the bust, snug. |
| Waist | At the narrowest point — usually just above the navel. |
| Hip | Around the fullest part, roughly 20 cm below the waist. |
| Shoulder | Across the back, from the point of one shoulder to the other. |
| Sleeve length | From the shoulder point to wherever you want the sleeve to end. |
| Skirt length | From the waist to the floor, in the heels you will wear. |
Cloth left over
The blouse cloth is cut generous on purpose. A tailor can take a blouse in far more easily than let one out, and the margin is what makes an alteration possible a year from now.

Because every piece is finished to one person's measurements, a stitched blouse cannot be returned. The skirt and dupatta are covered by the usual 7-day return.
